The Executive Director is responsible for leading the Foundation and for its operations; is the liaison with and support for the Board of Trustees; and oversees and promotes its relationships in San Antonio and throughout the contemporary art world.

In addition, the Executive Director is responsible for managing and enhancing the art collection, increasing its public availability, implementing the exhibition program and recommending acquisitions to maintain its visibility and significance in the contemporary art world.
